So today I did something I had always dreamed about doing. I volunteered at an orphanage. For 2 hours. And it added 20 years to my life. Some new wrinkles. Gray hairs. A migraine.
I am drained. I am numb. I am heart-broken. I am in love...
So glad you had this opportunity. I agree it would be a tough assignment and one that would really pull at my heart strings as well, but also one that I'd be greatful for too!!
What an amazing experience to be living in a completely new country! Just reading about your metro/shopping trips makes me nervous! The orphanage, however, sounds amazing!
I can't imagine what that experience must have been like. I'm sure your heart was broken for the things that break God's heart. Would love to hear more about it if you are able to share!
